Bay Area (Vallejo) natives Verb-1, L-E-N^ism, and Re*Source form The Earth Tones. Magnetically connected together through various freestyle sessions waay back during the Motorola Ultra Express pager days, Verb-1 and L-E-N shared a common influence in hiphop music, and grew together as songwriters. Since the debut of their underground, self distributed album in 2001 titled "Evolve, Cultivate, and Progress", The Earth Tones have performed in various venues and colleges all accross the Bay Area, and caused a slight street buzz throughout the world wide web. Providing an earthly blend of organic, boom bap, head-nod music, inspired by life, and express freedom, and consciousness. 100% Filipino-Americans who purvey golden age hip hop that is all about welcoming love, having fun, and spreading positivity. Holding it down properly for the local community.
